Welcome to Jennifer White Music! At my studio I provide quality instruction in piano, guitar, voice and electric bass to students of all ages.  I strongly believe that music should be a part of every person's life whether they have aspirations of becoming a professional musician or whether they would like make music for their own enjoyment.  It is never too late to learn the joy of playing an instrument. 

Lesson Formats:

I teach group and private lessons both online and in-person at my home studio.  Whether you are in person or online you can count on a lesson that is enjoyable, high quality, and developmentally appropriate.  I  provide lessons in various genres including classical, folk, jazz, and rock/pop traditions. 

About Me:

I am a certified music educator and professional musician living in Upstate New York.  I have spent just about my entire life studying the magic of music and my entire adult life working to bring that magic to others.  I hold a Bachelor and Master of Music in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam with concentrations in piano, piano pedagogy, and vocal music education.  I am also a 14 year veteran public school music educator where I have worked with students from Kindergarten through 12th grade and have had the joy of teaching many adult students as well.  As a performer I have performed professionally in classical, jazz, rock, and folk traditions .
